WHAT IS A CACAO CEREMONY:
Pure cacao is a traditional Mayan plant medicine used to uplift the spirit.
Cacao is NOT psychoactive.
Ceremonial grade cacao is made from whole cacao beans without the additives found in everyday chocolate.

A Cacao Ceremony is a type of shamanic healing, but it doesn’t have hallucinogenic or “out of body” effects, like some other Amazonian medicines.
It comes from the Mayan and Incan traditions, indigenous traditions in Central & South America dating back thousands of years. Cacao is a very sacred medicine for the indigenous people.
Where does this Cacao comes from?
This amazing heart opening cacao will be coming from an indigenous tribe in Costa Rica where Amy visited and learned from them how cacao was harvested and made.
HOW IT WILL BE SERVED?
We will be preparing this drink in the traditional manner: heating it slowly and carefully to just below boiling and embed it with blessings. Then we will enhance its medicinal power with honey and a touch of cayenne.
